Savage Acoustic Productions offers a bespoke and often remote music production service. With studios in Ireland, the UK, and Spain, I also frequently work on the road. My mission is to help artists find their authentic voice and preserve it throughout the production process. I focus on diving into the unique creeks and cracks of a performance, embellishing its raw essence rather than overproducing.

My favorite projects start with a simple acoustic recording of voice and guitar. From there, I craft unique beats, layer acoustic and electric guitar parts, add bass and percussion, and create sample instruments from existing recordings. My approach transforms the essence of a song into a polished product rooted in the identity of the artist. Whether it’s adding textures or rhythmic moments, my work often enhances lyrical ideas, ensuring the final piece reflects the artist’s vision.

I collaborate with talented session musicians for drums, bass, and strings, bringing a wealth of experience from my own music, which includes working with Ninja Tune and producing library and sync music for TV and other platforms. My expertise spans across genres, blending electronica, live acoustic sounds, and intricate details to create immersive music. I believe the best recordings happen when an artist feels natural and unguarded—whether it’s an iPhone recording or a relaxed session on a couch, the goal is to capture authenticity.

For artists concerned about the disconnect between live performance and studio production, I ensure the final recording resonates with their live identity. This avoids the common pitfall of producing a record that feels disconnected from the solo artist’s on-stage presence.

Examples of my work include tracks like “Pale Blue Dot” by Catherine Rudy, where I reimagined the song from a simple vocal and guitar recording into an expansive piece with reversed guitars and ambient textures.

Another example, “London Is Changing,” was built entirely around the vocal, with layered bass guitars and toms played into a tape delay for a unique sound. These are just a few examples of how I approach music production—always experimenting while remaining true to the artist’s core identity.

For live sound, I take an immersive approach. Instead of amplifying sound indiscriminately, I create individualised setups, placing speakers strategically to enhance the live experience without overwhelming the audience. Whether it’s crafting loops, building live sets with Ableton Live, or producing full albums, my ethos remains the same: to bring out the authentic voice of the artist.
